This policy complies with the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

1. Overview

At WasLoved, every garment has a story — and we want yours to start with confidence.
We carefully clean, inspect, and describe each pre-loved item before it reaches you.
Because most of our items are second-hand and unique, please read this policy carefully before making a purchase.

2. Returns Eligibility

You are entitled to return items if they are:

  • Faulty, damaged, or not as described upon arrival; or
  • Incorrectly sent (you received the wrong item).

To qualify for a return:

  • Contact us within 14 days of receiving your order.
  • The item must be in the same condition as received (unworn, unwashed, and with original tags or packaging if applicable).
  • Provide proof of purchase (order number or receipt).

3. Items Not Eligible for Return

Due to the nature of second-hand clothing, we do not accept returns for:

  • Change of mind or fit issues
  • Items marked “final sale” or discounted clearance
  • Hygiene-sensitive products (e.g. underwear, swimwear, hats, or earrings)

We encourage you to review all item descriptions, photos, and measurements before purchasing.

4. Return Process

  1. Email info@wasloved.co.uk with your order number, a brief explanation, and photos if applicable.
  2. Our team will confirm eligibility and provide return instructions.
  3. Once your return is received and inspected, we’ll notify you of approval or rejection.

If approved, your refund will be processed within 5–7 working days to your original payment method.

5. Shipping Costs

  • If the return is due to our error (faulty, damaged, or incorrect item), WasLoved will cover return postage costs.
  • For all other return requests (where applicable), the buyer is responsible for postage.

6. Exchanges

Because our items are one-of-a-kind, exchanges are not possible.
You’re welcome to place a new order once your refund is processed.
